Neuro Emotional Technique, or NET, is a mind-body technique that combines both eastern and western approaches to health. From the west, a method of biofeedback called muscle-testing is used to "diagnose" problematic emotions such as fixed or recurrent fear, anger or sadness. The organ meridian system, an eastern conceptualization based on ancient acupuncture theory, is then used to release those "diagnosed" emotions from the body.
Emotions are released through a protocol of touching certain acupuncture points, holding in mind a snapshot of the original situation the emotions occurred in, feeling the emotions and breathing. Through release of such emotions unhealthy beliefs are changed to healthy beliefs. Clarity of life and goals is brighter; blocks to the body's natural healing process are removed, and inner balance is enhanced.
NET is a tool for improving both mental-emotional status quo and physical homeostasis through working with emotions and beliefs. See also
